The diploma thesis focuses on internal communication in selected company. It deals with communication, the members in communication and stress. It analyzes internal communication in selected company by means of observation and questionnaire survey of the group of leaders and employees, and then draws several suggestions for improvement of situation in selected company.

The master´s thesis entitled „Leadership and Management“ provides not only for a theoretical picture on the issue of leadership and management in general but also a practical view of a company investigated, an undisclosed law firm. The theoretical part will feature some of the basic concepts of the monitored area, especially management, leadership, functions of management, role of management and leadership style. Lessons learned are further applied to the practical part of the thesis and result in recommendations for increased satisfaction both of employees and the entire firm.
The forms and methods of motivation in construction industry

This thesis on „Form and methods in construction“ is focused on satisfaction and motivation of employees from UNISTAV a.s. company. In theoretical part I focus on the most important and generally accepted theory of motivation. I also mention forms of motivation and also methods which can be used by managers in construction to challenge and stimulate their employees to perform better and to identify goals of individuals with goals of company. In the last part I introduce relevant information about studied company. As an example for empirical part of work, based on working hypothesis I created two questionnaires. On for ordinary customer and second one for managers. I also studied opinions on company communications and corporate culture in general. One of the main benefits of this thesis is, that it clearly defines weak and strong spots relative to the chosen topic. It also compares views of employees and their managers. From these findings I constructed series of solutions and recommendations. For convenience I show my findings in form of simple graphs.
Competences of kindergarten pedagogical leaders

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the position of the head pedagogical worker in a preschool. The theoretical part defines the head pedagogical workers in preschools, especially the school director, their legislative framework, and their job responsibilities. Furthermore, the theoretical part defines the concept of competence and examines the competencies of preschool directors and their competency models, which are based on their job responsibilities. The empirical part investigates, through quantitative research, whether the head pedagogical workers possess the necessary competencies required for managing preschools. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey, which was sent to preschool directors located in the Central Bohemian Region. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to determine which areas of the individual competencies the preschool directors consider most important for performing their role. In the empirical part of the study, it was found that among managerial competencies, the mastery of managerial skills was considered most important by the directors for performing their role. Threats and opportunities in motivating senior workers in education with experience in further education.

The diploma thesis deals with the motivation of managers in the field of further education. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out how kindergarten principals with practice perceive their own motivation to continue their education, or to identify a certain key critical period during their career as a kindergarten principal. Attention is paid to the characteristics of managers, their motivation, personal development and further education. Issues related to the burnout syndrome, possible factors causining the resigns of a manager, fundamental obstacles in motivation and critical moments of managers in their careers are also elaborated. The thesis includes qualitative research based on personal interviews with educational leaders, which took the form of semi-structured interviews. Qualitative research was chosen on the basis that appropriate methods could be used to achieve the stated aim of the thesis. A research sample was selected and specified for the qualitative research work. The research sample for this thesis was selected as the headmistresses of kindergartens who have long experience in the position, six years or more. Psychosocial risks of burnout syndrome of managers as a threat factor for the functioning of the organization

The thesis deals with the assessment of psychosocial risks and burnout syndrome among executives. The work is divided into three parts – theoretical, research and design. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition and clarification of individual terms. The subject of the research part is an investigation, which is focused on psychosocial risks and burnout syndrome among managers of organizations in various sectors operating in the Czech Republic. Based on the results found, proposals for reducing the investigated risks and preventing the burnout syndrome are presented at the end of the thesis.
Research of Employee Satisfaction in a chosen Company

The bachelor thesis is focused on employee satisfaction. The aim of the thesis is to determine the current level of employee satisfaction and motivation in the selected company and to present suggestions for their improvement. The theoretical part deals with literature search and explanation of important concepts. The analytical part of the thesis introduces the company and elaborates the chosen quantitative research strategy. This is followed by the processing and evaluation of the data obtained. The last part elaborates the actual proposed solutions that can lead to an increase in the overall job satisfaction in the company.

Forms of Harmonization of Private and Work Live of the Sandwich Generation for Managers

The thesis deals with the modern phenomenon of the sandwich generation focusing on managers. First part focuses on knowledge related to demographic pressures. It also defines the role of children and senior carers in the context of social policy in the Czech Republic. Based on the initial findings of role conflict of carers and staff my research was realized and it deals with the identification of impacts of experienced situation on the individual, who simultaneously finds himself in the role of a manager and children or senior carer, in his personal and professional life. The participants of the qualitative research underwent semi- structured interviews in which thematic areas related to the causes and circumstances of their role as caregivers and chief executive were included. Data analysis showed the impacts of factors influencing harmonization on personal and professional lifes of executives in the sandwich generation.
